Safe Sport

“Creating a culture where everyone can thrive is a shared responsibility”.

Safe Sport is a range of training modules and templates developed by the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) to help anyone involved in sport identify and prevent situations of maltreatment. Soccability Canada will continue to align with Safe Sport principles and where necessary develop our own content.

With Safe Sport Training from the Coaching Association of Canada, you get:

  • A complete program of safe sport training at no cost
  • An eLearning module that works with all computer operating systems and devices
  • Training in English or French
  • Training that’s compliant with accessibility standards
  • Professional development points for certified coaches

Safe Sport Training was developed to help anyone involved in sport — whether you have direct contact with athletes or work in the background — to promote physical, psychological, and social health, in line with the Universal Code of Conduct to Prevent and Address Maltreatment in Sport.

Take the course by visiting The Locker.

The Safe Sport Training module from the Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) is available at no cost to your members and meets the minimum standards for mandated safe sport training for Sport Canada-funded organizations.
