In 2006 FIFA (Federation of International Football Associations) carried out their ‘Big Count’ in an effort to understand globally the exact number of players participating in the sport of football and its continued growth – as a side note at that time it was 270 million people in all roles (player, coach, match official and administrator).

The Quite Big Count will take until the end of the year.
Provincial Soccer Associations, Regional Associations, Clubs and Academies will be targeted through direct e-mail and social media as we seek to gain a clear picture of the current numbers for disability soccer as it relates to:
- Organizations offering accessible programs
- Total number of players participating regularly
- Types of programs and range of needs included in these programs.
